In 1987, the late Lilian Disney wanted to give a generous gift by building a top- notch performance venue that would be a tribute to Walt Disney’s loyalty to the arts and to the community of Los Angeles. In 1988, well-known architect Frank Gehry was selected to design a complex that would turn out to be one of the most stylish concert halls in the world called the “Walt Disney Concert Hall”. His vision behind the sculpted design gave stainless steel curves to reflect the shine of the Southern California sun. The unique sleek shapes intermix with different levels to provide an atmosphere of reflections from the city’s surrounding high-rises to the lower level of the passerby.

INSPIRATION | The Rodeo model takes its form from the sleek curves of the Los Angeles landmark, with high sides that invite the bather to fully submerge in the tub’s deep basin. The Rodeo’s fluid shape is modern in style, yet accessible enough to suit any architectural design. Like the Concert Hall it emulates, the Rodeo embodies how a functional piece can also be a work of art.
