The 2024 HS Awards: Meet the Winners
Hydro Systems is thrilled to finally announce the winners of our first-ever design competition, the HS Awards! It was an absolute pleasure to receive so many incredible entries.
Our aim with the competition was to recognize the phenomenal talent and creativity within the design community, specifically focusing on projects featuring Hydro Systems’ products. The HS Awards saw entries from interior design firms and builders across the country – a testament to the incredible talent, diversity and creativity displayed in today’s bath spaces.
Thank You to the Finalists
Before we reveal the winners, we want to extend a massive thank you to everyone who participated. The quality of entries made the judging process challenging, but in the best way possible. We were impressed by the submissions and how they showed imaginative installations of our tubs.
And the Winners Are…
Drumroll please… the winners of the HS Awards are Maggie Winshall of Northshore Chicago-based MW Interiors and Jennifer Kizzee Designs in South Texas!
The Winning Work
Maggie Winshall wasn’t afraid to go for bold and let the freestanding tub shine in a dramatic high contrast design for a Highland Park, Illinois primary bath. She pared high-gloss white surfaces against the matte black exterior of the Marquis tub, yet somehow managed to keep the serenity of the space.
Jennifer Kizzee, you had us at alcove tub! Striking a playful tone for a young girl’s bath, Jennifer took the alcove version of our Sydney tub and elevated it with an unexpected mix of materials. Just how did she balance classic details like the layered skirt and brass fixtures with whimsical touches like the acrylic bubbles in the wall niche? We want to know more!

Putting their Prizes to Work
As part of their prize package, MW Interiors and Jennifer Kizzee Designs will receive:
- A trip for two. They’ll choose between Los Angeles or Atlanta, complete with airfare and a luxurious two-night stay.
- An exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Hydro Systems’ Operations Facilities, where they’ll witness firsthand how our custom products come to life.
- An exclusive hydro therapies spa experience – either at the McDonough, GA bathing suites or the Ole Henriksen Spa in Los Angeles, CA.
- And the final touch: A complimentary Hydro Systems tub of their choice to elevate their next project.
