Hydro Systems Makes Another Splash at the Southeastern Designer Showhouse
Each year, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles‘ Southeastern Designer Showhouse brings together the region’s most talented designers, architects, and builders to transform an exceptional home into a showcase of possibility. For Hydro Systems, returning to the showhouse for another year was an opportunity to demonstrate — in the most tangible way — how our hydrotherapy tubs can live inside an impeccably designed home.
The House
Open from April 16 through May 10 and located in Atlanta’s beloved Chastain Park neighborhood, the 2026 Southeastern Designer Showhouse on Powers Ferry Road was conceived by architect Linda MacArthur as a nearly 13,000-square-foot “forever home” designed to grow gracefully with a family over generations. Constructed by Hask Custom Homes with landscaping by Floralis Garden Design, the European transitional home arrives at the curb with a charming front chimney, hipped slate roof in charcoal hues, and a brick exterior with limestone accents.
Specifications designer Claudia Stimmel set a bold, sophisticated tone throughout, with touches such as handmade Walker Zanger tile, polished nickel and unlacquered brass fixtures, wide-plank hardwood floors, and custom Bell Cabinetry in warm, earthy lacquer finishes. The result was a home that felt both timeless and deeply current.
Hydro Systems in the Home
Three Hydro Systems tubs were selected for the showhouse.
Wellness Room: Hyde
In the home’s 4,000-square-foot basement wellness hub, the Hyde tub, outfitted with Cold Plunge, practically stole the show in a room already anchored by impressive elements, including a gym, infrared sauna, and steam room. Finished in black, the tub’s sweeping Art Deco curves brought architectural drama to the space.

Primary Suite: Michelangelo
The primary suite bath on the main level was home to the Michelangelo. With its fluted silhouette and accentuated curves influenced by the Italian Renaissance, the Michelangelo earned its place as the room’s defining sculptural element.

Secondary Bath: Anson
Upstairs, the Anson brought a quieter yet classical presence to one of the family-level baths. Its softly flared base and gently rolled rim channeled the genteel symmetry of Southern historic architecture, while its ergonomic interior and compatibility with Hydro Systems’ full suite of hydrotherapies ensured the function matched the form.

Weaving Wellness Into Beautiful Spaces
For Hydro Systems, participation in the Southeastern Designer Showhouse goes beyond brand visibility. There is simply no substitution for the experience of seeing a Hydro Systems tub fully integrated into a real home. These are the settings where designers discover what’s possible. They see firsthand how a tub like the Michelangelo can anchor a primary suite as a work of art, how the Hyde can bring visual drama and functional recovery to a wellness space, and how a piece like the Anson can carry a room with subtle architectural gravitas. They see, in short, how wellness can be cohesively woven into beautiful spaces.
